Jack's website
We are going to be doing away with Jacks website. We have decided that it is better to run everything from his blogs. We will be updating his blog with all the info that is on his website. Please like Jack's page on Facebook. If you would show your support by hitting share on the left hand side of the page it would be great. We want to continue to spread the word about mitochondrial disease. We also want to share Jack's daily journey. We thank everyone for there support and prayers.

New Blog address & prayer
Hello everyone...I am pretty upset because I did away with two email accounts. In doing that I lost my password to sign into Jack's old blog...I have been blogging on there since he was three :(....If you want to look at the old blog to see what Jack's journey has been like you can access it...http:/mitochondrialdisorders.blogspot.com/
Anyways I had to start this new blog. ...It will take me awhile to get it up and running. I plan to do it more often then I was.
I know I need to keep people informed about Jack's disease. I also know as a family we can use the prayers of people. Please pray for Jack at this time. He is having a real hard time dealing with death and dieing. I know questions at this age are normal but Jack has taken it to a whole different level. He knows he has a disease and fears dieing. We comfort him with the fact that there is eternal life but he is young to understand that. I tell him that he will live to be an old man. He asked how I am sure of that. He has said to me that he is ill and we never know. That was very hard to hear coming out of his mouth. I told him he has a long life ahead of him. I told him he will get married and have kids someday. He then said "no one will want to marry me, I am chunky".
He is having a hard time dealing with his weight as well. We are trying hard to keep his weight down. It is hard because he does not process fat correctly within the mitochondria. In the last week he has refused snacks and been cutting back on food on his own.
Jack still (besides these moments) acts very happy. He is always joking around and he is very loving. He is still dealing with pain daily and some other issues but he does most all of it with a smile on his face.
I am asking that people pray for Jack. Pray for his weight and that God gives him a peace about death.
